OPENER

The TERPS opened their 2009 season at Richmond today with a convincing 17 - 6 win over the Spiders. Newcomer, Karrie Ellen Johnson had 5 goals, 1 assist and 5 draw controls in her first college game/start! Well done. But she was not the only TERP...Sarah Mollison was all over the field today with 2 goals and 3 very nifty assists. Brandi Jones scored 2 and assisted on 2. Amanda Spinnenweber put in 2 goals and had an assist. Karissa Taylor scored her first ever
goal today! Brittany Jones and Caitlyn McFadden added 3 goals and 2 goals respectively. The outcome really was never in doubt as the TERPS "got points from everyone."

The TERPS defense did their part as well, limiting Richmond to 12 shots on the day and making it tough everytime the Spiders touched the ball or thought about passing or going to goal. Pressure.....great thing!!

Next up for the TERPS - - UMass on Saturday - - crazy day with Men's Lacrosse and Basketball - - will update parking information, but do check umterps.cstv.com for
information.

TERPS 1 - 0 in 2009! TERPS tailgate - "Best in the Nation." Thank you parents and family and friends! You are the best!!
